We fund problems that have answers — we just can’t find them yet.
If you have a formally stated question about on-chain systems, data structures, or the logic underneath them that you can’t resolve with current tools, send it. We’ll tell you within two weeks whether it’s decidable, whether we can staff it, or whether it’s not a problem.
What we’re looking for:
- A precise statement, not a research direction. “Can property X be proven for protocol class Y?” not “we’re interested in formal methods for Web3.”
- A reason it’s unresolved. What did you try? Where did it break?
- An on-chain or data-systems anchor. Pure math is welcome if it maps to something we can ship.
Selected challenges get a named researcher, a timeline, and a writeup when it’s done. If we can’t solve it, the writeup says so.
